We recently reached an historical landmark. More people now access the web using portable devices such as tablets and phones than with computers. What happens when someone uses a personal device to access YOUR web site? Responsive web sites are designed to deliver information that is readable on the smaller screens. They will adjust for each personal device as needed so the customer can still find your product or services.
If your site is not responsive, there is a good chance Google is penalizing you with a lower placement in search results. Login to your web site with your phone or other personal device, search for your URL in Google. When it is listed you will see “mobile ready” tag if Google sees your site as being responsive. If you DON’T see mobile ready, give us a call and we can help you make the necessary changes. You can assume Google and others will only get MORE restrictive as time moves forward so now is a good time to futurize your site.
